Recording of the Professional Variety
Hello and welcome once again to the latest installment on the Nosey Parker blog!
On Monday the 11th of July we entered the amazing Bergerk Studios to lay down 2 tracks of what will eventually be our first official release. Recording at Bergerk was absolutely fantastic and the results were better than we ever could have hoped for. So for all of out fans out there I'm putting the word out that these songs will be released on July 30th 2011. So on that beatiful day we encourage you to take a gander to our Triple J Unearthed website (www.triplejunearthed.com/NoseyParker) and have a listen to our two newly recorded tracks "Ain't About You" and "Bailey". As another creative title appears on our blog, another song appears on our site. This will just be a quick announcement to... announce that BAILEY IS UP. It is both up on our facebook, and on this website. I hope you guys give it a good listen and give us some kind of response on our facebook or comment on it down in the comment section. Enjoy!

After being cramped in a room for 5 hours with a Blues Deville, some guitars, some pedals and a mixing board; we've come out with some pretty solid guitar tracks. Fueled by softdrink, grainwaves and pizza, we've almost finished a few songs that will be available for listening through our demo cd. We hope to finish the demo by March 12th where we will be performing at, our dear friend, Jack Perejuan's video launch. We hope to record more and more, overcoming the busy schedules of uni, work, and school.
More news, you say? Why yes! We've got a new song that is to be uploaded on Monday evening. It's called 'Bailey' and those of you who have attended some of our many *cough* gigs, you may remember it. Keep tuned for the song, which we will upload to both Facebook and the site. We hope you enjoy the song and we hope to hear some feedback from you guys. We have a mailing list that you guys can join, if you wish. There we can keep you updated on blog posts, tracks and gigs. We are still finding the ins and outs of the website but once we have a good grasp, everything will run smoothly. If email is not for you, we also have an RSS feed. Check that out, if you will. Last of all, I want to plug this video launch a little more. The details are at the bottom of the home page, but if you are too lazy to scroll down (and lets face it, who has time for scrolling), here's the details: Jack Perejuan - Elation Video Launch 6-9PM - Saturday, March 12th The Arena, Kennedya Drive, Joondalup $10 Entry I advise you get there early. The capacity for the venue is 200 people and it seems that it will fill up quite quickly. I still recommend you go. It's a chance to check out local band Tempered Descent and, of course, Jack Perejuan. He's put a lot of effort into the video and the concert, so it would be awesome if you could come along.
